Le plan monstre de destruction d’emplois de Carrefour.

Le 22 janvier, on apprend par la Presse que le géant américain du commerce Amazon ouvre dans l’État de Washington le premier supermarché sans caisses, sans salariés.

Des produits scannés par les clients sur leur téléphone, des caméras qui surveillent le tout.

On fait ses courses sans voir un seul employé et c’est le client qui est scanné comme un produit, Amazon collectant toutes les informations à son sujet.

Le nouveau modèle du commerce selon Amazon.

Le 23 janvier, le géant français du commerce Carrefour annonce son plan de transformation du groupe, un plan au nom positif, qui va de l’avant : « Carrefour 2022 ». L’ambition est claire : rivaliser avec Amazon qui arrive en France.

Chez Carrefour «on optimisme» ! A ses salariés, sonnés par l’annonce, la direction communique que son plan de transformation « permettra au Groupe de devenir le leader MONDIAL de la transition alimentaire pour tous et de renouer avec le succès commercial et économique. ».

Car Carrefour va mal. Le ton de la direction est grave : «les résultats du réseau intégré sont fortement déficitaires et ont, en l’espace de 3 ans, entrainé une dégradation du résultat opérationnel de l’ensemble de notre entreprise.».

(Par réseau intégré, comprenez les magasins faisant partie du groupe, dont le personnel est salarié du groupe. Le contraire des franchisés ou des magasins en location-gérance.)

  • 2400 emplois supprimés sur les sièges de Massy et de Boulogne via un plan de départs « volontaires ». Ce qui représente plus d’un salarié sur cinq sur ces sites.
  • 273 magasins, anciennement DIA, considérés non rentables, sont menacés de fermeture pure et simple s’ils ne trouvent pas de repreneur. Ce qui représente 2100 emplois détruits à court terme.
  • L’automatisation des stations-service va entraîner la destruction de 500 emplois. Sachant que ces postes d’encaissement sédentaires permettaient de reclasser des salariées abimés par le travail. Les êtres humains seront remplacés par des machines à encaisser.

La fusion Fnac – Darty – Carrefour va entraîner un regroupement des achats avec la crainte de suppression d’emplois-doublons.

Nous redoutons aussi la disparition des rayons Culture et Electroménager, déclarés pas assez rentables, au profit de mini surfaces Fnac -Darty, Promocash ou Showroom.

Que deviendront les 1400 vendeurs électroménager et les quelques 1000 salariés Carrefour affectés aux rayons Culture dans les hypers ?

Concernant les 273 magasins anciennement Dia, s’ils retrouvent des repreneurs (ce qui n’est absolument pas garanti), les salariés ne seront plus employés par Carrefour mais par le repreneur.

Ce qui change tout pour les salariés : perte importante de pouvoir d’achat, perte des avantages sociaux du groupe Carrefour, conditions de travail dégradées et à terme, des emplois menacés.

carrefourCar si Carrefour assure que tous les contrats de travail sont transférés à la nouvelle société, la réalité est tout autre. Lors de la reprise d’un magasin par un gérant, les conditions de travail des salariés sont si dégradées et la pression est telle que près de 30% d’entre eux finissent par perdre leur emploi.

Et il n’y a pas que les 273 magasins qui sont concernés, des annonces plus ou moins officielles ont circulé sur l’accélération de la location-gérance dans tous les formats du groupe :
▪ Une première vague de 5 hypermarchés avec à terme plus d’une cinquantaine d’autres,
▪ La moitié des formats proximité en location-gérance et l’autre moitié en fermeture,
▪ Le passage de 20% de supermarchés supplémentaires (dont plus de 100 Carrefour Market)

La politique de Carrefour est claire : c’est le démantèlement complet du réseau de magasins intégrés. Avec des conséquences désastreuses pour les salariés.

Carrefour souhaite, avec ce mode de gestion, se désengager totalement au niveau social tout en gardant la main sur les magasins pour continuer à engranger des bénéfices et combler ses actionnaires.

Imaginez que vous aviez 10 000 actions Carrefour quelques semaines avant l’annonce (17 euros environ par action), depuis l’annonce vous venez de gagner 20 000 euros sans rien faire, grâce à la destruction annoncée de milliers d’emplois.

Le malheur des uns (très très nombreux) fait le bonheur des autres (beaucoup moins nombreux), comme on dit.

D’un point de vue humain, c’est monstrueux. Car en plus des destructions d’emplois déjà annoncées, c’est à moyen terme des milliers d’autres qui s’ajouteront, du fait du passage des magasins en location gérance ou en franchise.

carrefour_SCIDJean-Claude Mailly, Secrétaire général de FO (majoritaire chez Carrefour), a déclaré sur France 2 le 24 janvier qu’il appelait à la grève et se battrait pour… « négocier les conditions ». On en est resté la bouche ouverte… Quelle audace ce Monsieur Mailly ! On plaint les militants de terrain.

Les organisations syndicales représentatives implantées chez Carrefour savaient, dans les grandes lignes, ce qui allait se passer.

Et pourtant si vous le saviez… Les syndicats chez Carrefour disposent de moyens supra légaux considérables pour établir un vrai rapport de force : personnel détaché, remboursement de frais en tous genres, locaux, matériels, cartes de paiement Black…

Pourquoi n’ont-ils pas mis le feu pendant les fêtes, alors que l’enjeu commercial était le plus important ?
